Windows Store error 0x80131500: Microsoft's advices to fix it

Windows[German]Windows Store users may encounter error 0x80131500 when accessing the Store or updating apps and apps cannot be downloaded. Microsoft has published instructions on what those affected can do to resolve this error. This ranges from resetting the Store and checking for "Store updates" to checking the TLS settings.

SAP ECC RP: SAP customers without support in 2030?

Stop - Pixabay[German]I'm revisiting an old topic that concerns IT decision-makers and administrators who are responsible for SAP. In 2027, mainstream support for the SAP ECC ERP system will expire, and in 2030 the software will also be removed from extended support. Customers will have to switch to s4/Hana, but there are not enough consultants and specialists to manage the migration of existing SAP ECC ERP systems to s4/Hana.

A reader has informed me that the software has probably been hacked. I didn't found a proof, but there is a fact: The developer has archived the repository and is no longer developing it since then. In addition, a fake "simplewall" page has also appeared that aims to lure unsuspecting users.

The disruption was reported as resolved a few hours later. Over the weekend, however, I saw indications that problems were occurring again. Citrix Lizenz Server 11.17.2 Build 51000 with Time Bomb

Stop - Pixabay[German]There seems to be an unpleasant surprise for Citrix Service Providers in the License Manager. There are suddenly no more licenses available for some providers. The cause is probably a "time bomb" in Citrix License Server 11.17.2 Build 51000, in which the required license file is simply deleted under certain circumstances. However, Citrix has published instructions on how service provider administrators can finally solve this problem.

A German blog reader sent me a screenshot in which he was offered to set up Windows for personalized offers.
