Audience Member Expected a real turkey, but got served a rather OK amatourish Norwegian vampire flick. Vidar has spent his entire life at a farm. His mom is sick and utterly religious and he does everything around the farm. He get's rejected by girls since a young age and kind of gives up. In his early thirties, Jesus is kind of his only friend, but this Jesus is not like you regular Jesus and wants him to drink blood for everyone that deserves it, mostly meaning girls that reject him. It has some funny moments, some nasty moments, some shock value and some pretty good points. It's OK produced and it has self made songs in most scenes. It's not long and most importantly it's not dragged. Sure, it's not a quality film but certainly not a stinker. I kind of enjoyed it. 5.5 out of 10 farmer overalls. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Went to the premiere the other day. I knew I wanted to see this the first time I saw the trailer. It's dark, funny and I can picture some overly religious people yelling blasphemy at times (lucky for me none of those were present on the premiere). Nice to see a movie that's not all around predictable (in fact not even a little). Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Nick Spacek Starburst Once the film removes Vidar from his small, rural Christian village and moves him to the big Norwegian city, it turns from the oddball in a group of oddballs and becomes just another fish out of water story. Rated: 6/10 Aug 23, 2018 Full Review Amyana Bartley Film Inquiry Shame on the filmmaker for making this. Shame on the distributors who are distributing this. Shame on the festivals that gave awards to this and shame on the reviewers and moviegoers that don't also denounce this. Jul 3, 2018 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film It's a film with enormous personality which puts to shame all those lazy comedians who think shouting insults and giggling is enough to create edgy humour. Although its arguments are not new, they're delivered with gusto. Rated: 4/5 Jun 11, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
